How to Measure Your Pool for a Liner Replacement
Don't guess! And don't go by what the original box said. Pools can shift slightly over the years of use, and measurements off by even a few inches can cause fit problems.
For round pools: Measure the diameter at the widest point, wall-to-wall across the inside of the pool frame (not the water surface). Take measurements at two or three different points and use the largest measurement.
For oval pools: Measure the length at the longest point and the width at the widest point, both wall-to-wall inside the frame. Again, measure in multiple spots.
For rectangular pools: Measure length and width at the longest and widest points inside the frame.
A few tips that save headaches:

Choosing the Right Liner Style: Overlap, Beaded, or Unibead?
Size is only part of the decision. You also need to match the liner style to your pool's wall and coping system.
Overlap liners fold over the top of the pool wall and are held in place by the top rail. They're the most universal fit and typically the most affordable.
Beaded liners lock into a bead receiver track at the top of the pool wall. They produce a cleaner, more finished look and are easier to swap out, but your pool needs a bead receiver installed.
Unibead liners are the most versatile option: they can function as either a beaded liner (with the bead track intact) or be converted to an overlap style by removing the bead.
